This privacy and cookie statement relates to personal data processed by Robin Radar Systems. During the processing of personal data, we conform to the requirements of the applicable data protection legislation, like the General Data Protection Regulation. This means we:

  • clearly specify our purposes before we process personal data, by using this privacy statement;
  • limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data needed for legitimate purposes;
  • first ask for explicit permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;
  • take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and we demand the same from parties who process personal data on our behalf;
  • respect your right to access, correct or delete your personal data held by us.

For what purposes do we use your personal data?
Our website obtains various forms of personal data from you. For each purpose, it is indicated what data we obtain from you, for what purpose we process this data, and how long it is retained. You can contact us in various ways and ask us questions or make requests. You are also welcome to provide us with your feedback at any time. This can be done by phone, via a contact form, or by email. In order to answer your questions or respond to requests, we process your personal data based on the performance of a contract.

For this purpose, we process the following personal data from you:

  • first and last name;
  • email address;
  • company/organisation;
  • country;
  • market;
  • job title (optional);
  • phone number (optional);
  • any personal data that you fill in the message yourself.


    We keep this data for as long as necessary, based on the nature of the form or the content of the email or message. For the complete answering and handling,the correct registration of your data is necessary.

    Newsletter
    We have a newsletter, and you will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission or when you have already bought a product from us. We send a newsletter with interesting topics about our products. You can sign up for our newsletter on our website. We process this data based on consent.

    For this, we use the following data:

    • first and last name;
    • email address.

    We will keep this information as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. When you withdraw your consent, we will immediately delete your data for this purpose.

    Visiting our office
    When you visit our office, you will need to make an appointment first. For this appointment, we process personal data based on your consent.

    For this, we use the following data:

    • first and last name;
    • contact details;
    • appointment details;
    • camera footage.

    We will keep this information for the duration of two (2) years.

    When you visit our office, we record footage of you viacamera surveillance because we have a legitimate interest in doing so. We do this solely to ensure the safety of our visitors, our employees, and to protect our property. We keep the camera footage for a maximum of one month, unless there is a legitimate interest in keeping it longer.

    Quotes
    You can request a quote through our website. We process personal data for this purpose based on the performance of a contract.

    For this, we process the following data:

    • first and last name;
    • company name;
    • email address;
    • phone number.

    We keep this data for six (6) months after the quote has been sent.

    Applying for a Job
    You can apply for a job at Robin Radar Systems. On our website, you will find the various available job openings. You can indicate your interest in the position in various ways through our website. You can send your application via email, or you can leave your contact information so that we can get in touch with you to schedule an introduction. We process personal data for this purpose based on the performance of a contract.

    We process the following personal data when you apply with us:

    • first and last name;
    • email address;
    • phone number (optional);
    • address details (optional);
    • CV and the information contained therein;
    • information from the cover letter.

    The above data is necessary so that we can contact you regarding your application and assess whether you are suitable for the respective position.

    We will retain your data for a maximum of four (4) weeks if it turns out that you did not get the position. We may ask you to keep the data longer because we may have a suitable position for you in the future. In that case, we will ask for your consent to retain the data for four (4) more months. After this period, we will ask you again for your consent to retain your information for another four (4) months. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an email. When you join us, we will keep your application data in the personnel file.

    As part of the process, a social media and Google search may be conducted. This is necessary to ensure that our image is maintained when hiring new staff. We do this based on our legitimate interests. We will search for your name on Google and your profiles on various social media platforms, to the extent that these profiles are public. If such an investigation is carried out, the results will be discussed with you. If you object to this investigation, you can indicate this by email when you apply.

    ReCAPTCHA
    Robin Radar Systems uses the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. (Google) to protect the website of Robin Radar Systems against spam and abuse. In order for Google reCAPTCHA to work, the IP address of a website visitor, mouse movements and possibly other data are collected by Google. This personal data is sent to and processed by Google for this purpose.     Providing personal data to third parties
